Generate videos in Claude with SANTO

Ask for an ad, a face swap or a 3-minute film in plain words. Claude picks the model, shows you the price and makes the video in your SANTO account.

Connect the SANTO VIDEO MCP server so you can make videos for me:
1. Run: claude mcp add --transport http santo https://mcp.santovideo.io/mcp
2. Tell me to type /mcp, choose "santo" and sign in to SANTO in the browser that opens.
3. When it is connected, call list_models and show me the models with their prices.

Prefer the terminal? Run claude mcp add --transport http santo https://mcp.santovideo.io/mcp, then type /mcp in Claude Code, choose santo and sign in.

Using Claude Code on the web? Its network may block the SANTO address. Easiest fix: connect SANTO in Claude instead (Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, URL https://mcp.santovideo.io/mcp), see the Claude tab. Or add mcp.santovideo.io and auth.santovideo.io to the allowed domains of your cloud environment.

Add the URL as a remote MCP server; the client opens a SANTO page where you sign in and press Allow. Server-side agents can send an API key from the developer console instead. Full setup for VS Code and others is in the docs.

Questions

What does it cost?

The same credits as the SANTO app, at the same prices, with no extra fee for MCP. The assistant can call estimate_cost to show you the price first, and a video that fails is refunded automatically.

Can an assistant spend all my credits?

No. Each connected app has its own daily credit limit (16,000 by default). Change it, or see what each app spent today, in the developer console under API keys and apps.

How do I disconnect?

Any time: open the developer console → API keys and apps → Disconnect. The app loses access immediately. You can also remove the connector in your assistant's settings.

Is it safe?

You sign in on a SANTO page and approve the app yourself (OAuth 2.1 with PKCE). The assistant never sees your password or payment details, its token works only on the SANTO MCP server, and it cannot reach your other apps or files. The usual SANTO content rules apply to every request.

Do I need an API key?

Not for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Cursor: they sign in with SANTO. Only clients that cannot open a browser need an API key.
